“I’m Steph from Vida Qigong in Bristol
After completing the Pulling Down the Heavens Qigong and Swaying Qigong courses, which I found deeply enriching, I was drawn to the Golden Ball course. My journey led me to the UK College of Qigong, a decision made after much careful research. What captivated me most was the college’s commitment to traditional teachings, something that Sifu Anita embodies beautifully. She took the time to interview me, not just to fill a seat, but to genuinely understand if I was aligned with the college’s ethos. This thoughtful approach resonated with me, making me feel like I had found the right place.
Sifu Anita’s teachings were special to me because she gave me space to grow, even when I might have been a challenging student. Life’s demands often swayed me like branches in the wind, yet I was allowed to learn at my own pace. As it turned out, I completed the final modules at just the right moment. The theoretical lessons, rich in detail, have seamlessly integrated into my practice. I often hear Sifu Anita’s voice in my mind, guiding me with her vivid visualizations, especially when I’m practicing under the canopy of trees. Her deep connection to Dao and nature brought the traditional aspects of Qigong to life in a way that other courses had not.
Nature has been my sanctuary, guiding me back to well-being. It feels only natural to teach Qigong beneath the very trees that have nurtured my soul. My goal as a teacher is simple: to create an environment where my students can find joy in a practice that supports them, allowing them to flourish both in our shared space and in their own time. I hope they find the same sense of well-being I have discovered through Qigong and, together, we can cultivate a community rooted in the harmony of like-minded spirits.”
